On this page are digital photographs taken while walking close to my home carrying a booklet from the ICP exhibition Inconvenient Evidence: Iraqi Prison Photographs from Abu Ghraib. I placed the images of the horrors that occured in juxtaposition to everyday life, physically making visual connections. The contrast of everyday life and works of art against these images shows how our complaicency makes us all complicit even as we exerience anger, shock, sadness, and dark humor. The photographs on this page are arainged in a manner meant to be overwhelming and orderly - scroll horizontally and vertically. The photographs are named arbitrarily by the camera. Click one to view it larger. The large images can be viewed as a slideshow.
