Welcome to Tommy Mintz.com

I am a NYC-based artist. My work draws upon the aesthetics of street photography, digital culture, mapping and performace. Here is my C.V. My most recent work is the Automated Digital Photo Collage, an interactive installation built using Python code, a Rasperry Pi computer and webcam, that creates time-lapse aggregations of the viewer in real-time. I'm a member of the Institute for Wishful Thinking, a loose collective of artists whose work focuses on social issues. An ongoing collection of my street photography is called Cheap Shots.

Below is a sampling of my past work.
